Yvonne Bledsoe

Staff attorney, evaluations and IEPs

Yvonne reads evaluation reports and IEPs next to each other, and shows parents where they don’t agree.

Yvonne came to law after years as a classroom aide, where she sat in on meetings she wasn’t invited to speak at. She now sits at the table, beside parents.

She records the video walk-through on this site, and writes most of the clinic’s guides on evaluations.

What she tells parents first

You don’t have to understand every score. You have to know which three matter, and Yvonne will show you.

She reads the report before the meeting, with a pen, and gives parents a list of questions in order of importance.
